Sending you our deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother. My mother, Clara Horstman, and your mom, Theda, were great friends from the Lima Locomotive days. I’m sure they’re having a wonderful visit now! Sincerely, Kathy Moening and family

Lehman Family, Our sincere sympathy to the family. Theda was a wonderful person and her smile would light up a room. Good memories of Sunday night visits between our families. Our Mom and Theda were first cousins and had a special bond. She blessed so many people in her life. We are in California and are sorry we will be unable to be there for visitation. Theda was my neighbor and such a sweet lady. I walk by her house every day and will definitely miss seeing her. God Bless you Theda. You will be missed. I will not be able to make the visitation but you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Theda was not only the best mother-in-law I could ever have asked for, she was my friend. I loved her very much, and always knew how much she loved me back. She was such a role model! She refused to be bitter over a difficult childhood, and instead, cultivated kindness and compassion. She always had a smile and a good word for each person she met. I am so sorry I am unable to be there this weekend to say good-bye, but trust that Theda already knows that I am there in spirit. Blessings and peace in your next journey, Theda, ... and give Ray a big hug from me! Love you always... Karla

What a legacy this wonderful woman left! I think many of us hope we will make a difference or matter. Theda Lehman has provided us with the template of doing just that. I will always remember her as being kind, loving, joyful and generous with herself. I remember her saying, "I just want everyone to get along." I know she wanted us to accept each other and honor each other, no matter our differences, and work hard to make this world a better place. And her energy! She never sounded or acted like an "old person". She was the very definition of who it is to live life fully. If there is any consolation in her passing, it is knowing she believed she would be joining her beloved husband, Raymond, who I know she loved and missed every day of her life. I see her as a beacon showing us the way to live a life worth living. Although she will be deeply missed, her spirit can live on in all of us whose lives she touched.
