ADA — Sharon Lee Bledsoe 81, of Ada, passed away May 8, 2017 at 4:10 pm at the Lima Memorial Health System. She was born January 12, 1936 to Irvin and Mary Anderson, the oldest of seven children. She was married to Ray Hofferbert and Scott Bledsoe. Both proceeded her in death.

Sharon is survived by seven children; Sheila(Keith)Westrick of Celina, Susan(Steve) Hubbell of Ada, John(Gloria)Hofferbert of Ada, Greg(Emma)Hofferbert of Lima, Shelly Williams of Ocala, Florida, Stacy(Robert)Wolfe of Lima, and Rae Bledsoe of Ada, as well as a brother Bob Anderson and two sisters Nancy Goedde and Mary Cramer. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by 3 brothers; Terry Anderson, Irvin “Butch” Anderson, and Larry Smith as well as a grandson Stephen Thomas Hubbell.

Sharon was employed by Excello/Textron of Lima and thought of her co- workers as her extended family. She remained close friends to many of them through the years.

Sharon was dedicated to her family and fully enjoyed the responsibility of being a mother, raising her seven children seeing them grow and flourish bringing her great pride. She loved adventure and seven children did not deter her from loading up the family camper and heading out to a nearby beach. In her later years the ocean became her favorite vacation destination.

Sharon attended LaFayette Missionary Baptist Church. She was also active at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Naples, Florida. She especially enjoyed the Friday Bible Study group.

There will be a funeral service held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 12 noon at the LaFayette Missionary Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Pastor Ellis Puckett and co-officiating will be Pastor Ken Waldrop. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum following the services.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the LaFayette Missionary Baptist Church Kids Ministry. The family has entrusted the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL in assisting them with funeral arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com
