Patricia Ann “Pat” Stoner, 72, was called into the presence of the Lord Monday, November 17, 2014 at 3:24 p.m. surrounded by her loving family in her home.

Patricia was born May 12, 1942 in Lima, to the late Allen O. and Velma O. Musselman Painter. On September 9, 1962 she married the love of her life, Benjamin Thomas “Ben” Stoner, who survives in Westminster. They were married 52 years.

Mrs. Stoner was a 1960 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She had previously worked at the United Telephone Company, and retired from Nickles Bakery. Pat had volunteered as an ombudsman for the Area Agency on Aging #5. She was a dedicated wife, mom, and grandma, who’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and pets. Pat especially enjoyed her grandchildren, and spending winters in Florida. Her many hobbies included roller skating, swimming, walking, gardening, Swedish weaving, and crocheting. Pat was a member of the Christian Assembly of God.

Pat and Ben were blessed with 3 children, Benjamin A. “Ben” Nang Neal Stoner of Westminster, Timothy S. Stoner, who preceded her in death, and Michelle L. Larry Wilmoth of Cridersville; 2 grandchildren, Justin W. Wilmoth of Lima, and Jessica A. Wilmoth of Cridersville; and 3 great-grandchildren, Justin, Emily, and Benjamin.

Other survivors include 2 Brothers, Ron Painter of Lima, and Allen Joan Painter of Cleveland; 2 Sisters, Sharon Don Cisco of Lima, and Carol Jim Burkholder of Lakeview; brother-in-law, Warren Stoner; and 4 Sisters-in-law, Eva Mae Crisenberry, Alice Dawson, Mary Ed Randall, and Paula Stoner.

She is preceded in death by, sister-in-law, Audrey Stoner; and 3 brothers-in-law, Paul Stoner, John Crisenberry, and Ron Dawson.

Services will begin 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Pastor Rich Biclawski will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.

Friends may call from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
