Jeann A. Miller, age 77, passed away at 5:32 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, at the Meadows of Leipsic.
Jeann was born June 21, 1941 in Lima, to Carlton “Red” and Ruth (Glasgow) Strickler who both preceded her in death.
Jeann was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. She enjoyed classic country music, reading and crocheting and she was an avid NASCAR fan. Jeann loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was blessed with five children, Paula Strickler of Lima, Clista (Gary) Hummel of Bremen, IN, Christina “Tina” (Robert) McCann of Bradford, PA, Paul L. (Tina) Miller, Jr. of Anacoco, LA, and Peter (Tonya) Miller of St. Marys, West Virginia; eleven grandchildren, Tara Kaufman, Patrick McCann, William “Bill” McCann, Kaitlin McCann, Paul L. Miller, III, Jeremy Miller, Tyler Miller, Mindy (John) Davis, Tina (Aaron) Seese, Bub (Brenda) Horner, and R.D. (Teresa) Cox, six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Other survivors include her brother, Charles (Joan) Strickler of Grosse Ile, MI and inlaws, Pamm (Bruce) Jones, Howard (Jody) Miller, Ruby (Randy) Greenland, Danny Miller, Mary (Jim) Dunson, Joe Miller and Connie Hall.
She is preceded in death by her former husband, Paul L. Miller Sr.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday July 23, 2018, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Major Phil Tamayo will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 614 E. Market Street, Lima, Ohio 45801.
