Jacqueline Hogan Davis

Jacqueline A. “Jackie” Davis, 90, of Lima, peacefully passed away at 10:40 AM on Tuesday, July 03, 2018 at Lima Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 14, 1927 and raised in Bucyrus, OH by J. Arthur and Izetta Weller, who both preceded her in death. On June 12, 1949, she married Robert J. Hogan, who preceded her in death on January 21, 1972. In 1981, she married Harold F. “Boom” Davis, who preceded her in death on July 27, 1993.

Jackie was an enthusiastic member of numerous charitable and civic organizations as well as a 56 year member of Shawnee United Methodist Church. She had worked at Lazarus for over 25 years in the office and customer service. She also worked at Davis Memorials in monument sales.
Jackie was an optimistic, loving and giving person who always made others feel special. She had a contagious smile and brought out the best in everyone she met.

Surviving are her sons Mark (Sandra) Hogan, Tim Hogan and Cliff Hogan; her daughter Nancy (Chuck) Davis; her step-son Mark Davis; her step-daughter Paulette (Kirk Yerkes) Davis; her grandsons Shon, Rob, Ryan and Brandt; her granddaughters Ginny, Angie, Jennifer and Jessica; her nine great-grandsons; her one great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, July 9, 2018 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL, with Pastor Peter Citerin, officiating.

Interment will immediately follow the services in Shawnee Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
