Jack L. Alexander, age 85, was called home to the Lord at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Jack was born October 14, 1933 in North Baltimore, OH, to the late Forest “Tobe” and Ona (Bomer) Alexander.

Jack was a retired Construction Supervisor. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a dedicated member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Kenton, Ohio.

He is survived by three children, Jacqueline “Jackie” and Michael Stephens of Kenton, Jon and Terri Alexander of Kenton and Teresa “Jill” and Rick Rohling of Independence, KY; four step-children, Steven and Elaine Epp, Mark Epp, Jeffrey Epp and Gary Epp; nine grandchildren, Kelli Stephens, Tyler Stephens, Allison Knepper, Libby and Michael Martin, Carrie and Ian Sturgill, Jessica Alexander, Julie Alexander, Tara and Nolan Fisher, Craig and Desiree Graber; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Emma Rollins, Shirley and Ralph Griffin, Barbara and Tom Uliczny; two brothers, Marvin and Anna Alexander, Melvin Alexander and special friend , Januah Anspach.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (Barker) Alexander; second wife, Marilyn (Epp) Alexander; Son, Joseph “Joey” Alexander; brother, Chester Alexander and sister, Helen Kraft.

Graveside services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday February 4, 2019, at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, 3000 Harding Hwy., Lima, Ohio 45804. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW #1275, Lima.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
