Imogene I. “Jean” Harrison, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2018, peacefully in her home. Jean was born April 2, 1929, in Putnam County, Ohio, to Ralph and Gladys (Smith) Ulrey. On October 21, 1950, she married William E. Harrison who survives in Lima.

Jean is survived by her five children: Cathy (David) Linderud, Michael Harrison, Stephen (Peggy) Harrison, Kelly (Alan) LaVallee and Scott (Shari) Harrison; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great – great grandchild all in the Lima area. She is also survived by sister, Barbara (Larry) Schafer of Linthicum, Maryland and brother-in-law, Jim McCray of Bowling Green, OH.

She is preceded in death by an infant baby boy; daughter-in-law, Randi Harrison; half-sisters, Christine (Ed) Spees, Evelyn (Clyde) Hooker; half-brothers, Byron (Ruth) Ulrey, Norman (Molly) Ulrey, Donald Ulrey; sisters, Pauline (Tom) Buchman, Bonnie (Jim) McCray and brother, Wilbur (Harriett) Ulrey.

Jean graduated from Kalida High School in 1947 with honors. She was a homemaker but had been employed by The Leader and Westinghouse Corp. Jean was an active member of Rousculp Church of Christ for over fifty years. She was a wonderful, loving, wife and mother to her family. Jean enjoyed gardening, reading and always had an open heart.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Pastor Kenny Rader will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 23, prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
