Gordon E. Waldron, 90, passed away at 10:45 am, August 27, 2018 at his residence.

He was born October 29, 1927 in Nashville, TN, to Grady and Lela (Toombs) Waldron who preceded him in death. On July 18, 1950 he married Maxine O. Bissinger who preceded him in death on November 24, 1996.

He retired as a brakeman from CSX-RR after 37 years of service. He was also the founder of Waldron Well Drilling. He served in the US Army during World War II, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, finding bargains at garage sales and auctions, and passing out $2 bills to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include: 3 Sons, Preston (Cindy) Waldron of Lima, Steve (Tammy) Waldron of Lafayette, John (Carla) Waldron of Columbus; 2 Daughters, Sandra Waldron and Sharon Waldron both of Lima; 10 Grandchildren 10 Great-Grandchildren, a Sister, Dorothy Washer of Nashville, TN.

He was preceded in death by: a son, Nathan Waldron; a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of services at 2:00 pm Friday at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES EASTSIDE CHAPEL with Rev. Todd Cosart officiating. Burial will follow in Bluelick Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Rescue Home.
