Geneva M. Williams, 92, passed away at 3:27 pm, February 28, 2018, at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born June 30, 1925 in Lima to Gordon and Levauda (Sandy) Hunt who preceded her in death. On April 10, 1945 she married Robert M. “Red” Williams who preceded her in death on September 24, 2010.

She was a 1942 Valedictorian Graduate of Elida High School. She worked at Kresge’s after high school, was a very active member of the Elm Street Church of the Brethren holding many positions there, she enjoyed doing puzzles and was an avid reader, loved watching Lawrence Welk and Hallmark Movies, and a VIP at Indian Lake State Park with her husband. She truly loved her husband and family.

Survivors include: a Son, Robert G. (Jo) Williams of Lima; 3 Daughters, Darlyn (Thomas) Werner, Peg (Steve) Sterne, and Anita Rumer all of Lima; Grandchildren – Michele (Pat) Cleary, Tom Werner II, Bill L. Downing, Jodie (David) Twining, Dennis (Michelle) Williams, Matthew (Christina) Williams, Erica Knight, Jessica (Neal) Good; Great-Grandchildren – Mackenzie Cleary, Dylan and Bryana Twining, Ragan, Haley, and Skyler Williams, Jayden and Madisen Williams, Madeline and Clayton Robert Knight, Alexa, Eliam, Thaddeus Robert, and Ezekiel Good; a Sister, Ruth Plaugher of Pickerington.

Preceded in death by: a Great-Grandson, P.J. Cleary; 2 Sisters-in-law, Katherine Joseph, and Meriam Good.

Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Rev. Wesley and Sue Richard officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at Shawnee Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Elm Street Church of the Brethren.
