David J. (Hutch) Hutchins, 69, Passed away peacefully December 4, 2018 surrounded by his beloved Family.
David was born June 14, 1949 in Lima to Joseph Leo and Donelda Ruth (McNamara) Hutchins, who preceded him in death.
David attended Lima Central Catholic High School. He started his career at Lima Electric Corporation and then went on to own and operate Mid-Ohio Maintenance. His dedication and passion for his customers attributed to 40 years of successful business. His customers were his motivation. He loved his grandchildren and watching them play sports. Always accompanied by his dog Zoey, Hutch loved camping, golfing, boating and spending time with his family and friends. Hutch was an incredible Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Father in Law and Friend to many. He will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Survivors include a daughter, Missy (Troy) Parker of Lima, two sons, David (Amy Fisher) Hutchins and Joe (Brooke Hoehn) Hutchins both of Lima. 11 Grandchildren: Drew Parker, Alex Parker, Julia Hutchins, Jake Hutchins, Kennedy Parker, Allie Hutchins, Carson Parker, Jagger Hutchins, Karleigh Hutchins, Brady Parker and Josie Hutchins. A sister, Cindy (Bob) Hill of Bowling Green and a brother, March Thomas Hutchins of Dayton.
He was preceded in death by his twin sisters Jeannie (Joe) Tschida and Janie (Tom) Hullinger.
Friends and Family may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Services will begin Monday at 11 a.m. with Father Jim Szobonya officiating. Friends may call 10 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Gethsemani Cemetery immediately following the service.
In Lieu of flowers, Please make memorial contributions to Lima Central Catholic Athletics and Shawnee High School Athletics where he loved watching his Grandchildren play.
