Arthur C. Hadding, age 82, passed away February 10, 2015, at 12:43 am, at his residence. Arthur was born July 4, 1932 in Kendall, MI, to Arthur and Martha Kriskamp Hadding who preceded him in death. On March 17, 1953 he married Helen Legge Hadding who survives in Harrod.
Arthur had worked as a custodian with the Allen East School System from which he retired in 1994. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Formerly he had attended the Alger First Assembly of God Church and the Calvary Temple Church in Lima. Art enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with his family. He also like working in his yard.
Art is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia A. Crisp of Lima, OH and Arleen Kay Eric W. Lawson of Harrod, OH, a son, A. Cliff Marisa Hadding III of Harrod, OH, 8 grandchildren; Donald C. Caroline Dawson, Heather Ryan Moran, Jared Hadding, Eric Gabriel Debra Lawson, Shawn W. Lawson, Sharonda George Coleman, Yalonda Denson and Willie “PJ” Denson, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a brother, Charles Hadding of FL. He was preceded in death by; 3 brothers, Robert Hadding, Victor Hadding and Vernard Hadding, 6 sisters; Helen Legge, Dorothy Boist, Sylvia Roessler, Goldie Shepard, Olive Hadding and Aletha Kinkle, a daughter, Beverly Dawson and an infant son.
Funeral services will be held at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL on Friday Feb. 13, 2015 at 11:00am. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Dr. Timothy White. Burial will be in the Auglaize Township Cemetery following the service. Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran’s Food Bank. Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com
